About Me

I am an educator, a parent of a child with multi-disabilities, and a seasoned advocate for inclusive. I believe that ALL children should play! Unstructured, creative and imaginative play. Working on strengths not weaknesses. I will be sharing ideas about playgrounds, toys, disabilities, and my own personal story. You can learn more about what I do at my website www.letkidsplay.com. Toys for Children with and without Disabilities: Brain Noodles

#23 in 50 Toys in 50 Days
Part of Let Kids Play annual Holiday Toy Guide

Brain Noodles are 18" fluffy fiber stems that resemble jumbo pipe cleaners.  They bend and twist anyway you want.  They are easy to hold and manipulate making it easy for someone with poor fine motor skills to be successful creating art.  They provide a unique sensory feel which many children love.  Your child can make simple to complex sculptures including things to add to their dress up play.  They are great to have around during the holidays when you need to occupy your children and don't want to make a huge mess.
